Ways to Pay your Bill:


Pay taxes online
Mahoning County provides customers a fast, easy, and safe way to conveniently pay your tax bills online. Payment methods include Visa, MasterCard, Discover, Electronic Check – and Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, and Venmo. 

This is a fee-based service, charged by our third-party payment vendor. A service fee of 2.95% of the transaction amount with a $2.95 minimum will be applied to credit card payments and a fee of $1.95 will be applied to all payments made via electronic check (ACH/EFT). 

Pay by Phone
Make a secure payment by phone anytime 24/7. Use your landline or mobile device to pay using our automated system by calling: 844-212-5002

Please note payments will be posted on the following business day.  In addition to service fees noted above there is a 0.95 cents charge for pay by phone.

Pay by Text
Sign up to get text notifications about your bill and have the option to pay through text.

You may enroll in Pay by Text when making an online payment or by accessing your account and selecting the Pay by Text option. A confirmation will be sent to complete your enrollment.

Pay by Mail
Checks or Money Orders may be made out and mailed to: Daniel R. Yemma, Treasurer; Mahoning County Courthouse, 1st Floor; 120 Market Street; Youngstown, OH 44503. Any payment that is postmarked on/or before Due Date will be recorded as on time. YOUR CANCELED CHECK IS A VALID RECEIPT.

Pay in Person
The office is open from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday – Friday for taxpayers who prefer to pay in person. Mahoning County Courthouse, Treasurer’s office, 1st Floor.

More Convenient Features to Pay your Bill:

AutoPay
Enroll in AutoPay and your bills will be automatically paid prior to the due date each billing cycle, using your default credit card or bank account. This will avoid any late fees and free you from having to remember when to pay. 

Login to your account and click on AutoPay to enroll.

Scheduling Payments
You choose when to pay. Scheduled payments are individual payments that you schedule for any date you designate prior to the bill due date. The date of a scheduled payment can be changed as long as it is adjusted before the date scheduled.
